Cookie Policy.

We use cookies and browser-local storage for the narrow purposes listed below — keeping you signed in, remembering your consent choice, and (only if you accept) measuring aggregate readership. No third-party advertising trackers. No supplier-funded analytics. Ever.

What is a cookie?

A "cookie" is a small text file a website stores in your browser so it can remember things across page loads — like whether you're signed in, or what language you prefer. The term is commonly used to cover a few related technologies: first-party HTTP cookies, local storage, and session storage. This policy treats them together.

Cookies can be first-party (set by the site you're visiting — us) or third-party (set by another service embedded in the page). VRA does not allow third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

Our two categories.

We use cookies for two purposes, and nothing else:

Full inventory.

Every cookie and local-storage entry we set, explained:

We do not use retargeting pixels. We do not use Google Analytics in a cross-site configuration. We do not permit any third party to use information collected through this site for advertising purposes. Buyer-funded means data-minimal.

Changing your choice.

You can change your consent decision any time — we treat revocation exactly the same as an initial choice.

Clear via browser settings

Browser-level controls.

Your browser also offers controls to block or delete cookies at the system level. These controls apply to every site you visit, not just VRA. Relevant documentation:

Chrome↗ Firefox↗ Safari↗ Edge↗

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies in your browser will prevent you from signing in to VRA Insights and may break form submissions. Blocking optional cookies simply turns off aggregate analytics.

Do Not Track & GPC.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a request to reject optional cookies and we won't show the consent banner. We acknowledge Do Not Track (DNT) headers the same way, although DNT has been deprecated by most browsers.

Changes to this policy.

We update this policy when our cookie practices change. Material changes appear at the top of the page. The "Effective" date above reflects the current version.
